Fleur works at the interface of science and policy in the applied areas of natural resource management and biodiversity conservation. Her PhD thesis explored how, by targeting management actions towards natural capital stocks, we can influence ecosystem function, and thus the provision of ecosystem services and conservation outcomes. Her key areas of interest are: ecosystem services; biodiversity policy; and biodiversity offsetting. Fleur is currently working part-time as a post-doc on the NESP Threatened Species Recovery Hub funded project ‘better offsets for threatened species’.
