Joslin Moore is a lecturer in the School of Biological Sciences at Monash University, affiliated to CEED through her work at the University of Melbourne. The aim of her research is to use ecological theory as a tool to solve and inform applied ecological problems that will aid in the conservation and sustainable management of natural resources. She uses decision theory, structured decision making, population models and other quantitative methods to assist practitioners achieve their conservation and management goals. She also does field work aimed at testing models, developing applications and ultimately improving the decisions that we make. Much of her work has been applied to the management of invasive plant species.
